• Site was down for a month & Lost many best tips

Since 2006, I used ZnetIndia as my default web hosting provider, as I moved to a higher package, people often complaint me about the missing of the site. Last year I came to know about http://aremysitesup.com, and then I came to know that the server was not online line all the time. i.e.: 30% of time it will be down. Whenever I enquired they said that it will fix next, and they have updated. Finally one day when I was working on site for a major update, the site went down, I tried to contact them over ticket first, then tried on chat but no use no one is telling the reason. Finally I called them (ISDN) they said that their server crashed and HDD was not detecting. That seen continued 2 days.

When I site was up, the control panel is not loading, mails are not going. I have asked them for the reason and asked to reduce the hosting price or to cancel the account, On the mail I told them to let me know their decision. One fine day I got an email saying that my account will cancel soon and I have to let them know when I finish backup. Next day morning when I as @ office, I got an email saying that my account was cancelled.

When I checked I found out that the site is missing. I contacted Helpdesk through phone (spend around 500AED), and tried for 2 days, Final answer I got is “Sorry” no data backup.

I lost 2 years tips that I have collected and updated with in last 2 weeks.

So Please don’t Use ZnetIndia, if you are using make appropriate measures
